Chennai (Tamil Nadu) : Free online classes were held by Patanjali Yogapeetha at K. K. Nagar wherein Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) was invited to give guidance on the Navaratri festival. Mrs Sugandhi Jaikumar of HJS (with a spiritual level of 67%) explained the science of rituals like keeping the lamp lighted for all nine days without break; ‘Kanya-pujan’, and ‘Kumkumarchan’, etc. She also explained the importance of giving ‘sattvika’ gifts and valuable Sanatan’s holy books. The program concluded with HJS’ Saint Mrs Uma Ravichandran clarifying doubts asked by the curious participants.

Highlights

Mr Bhaskar, the Coordinator of the Yoga class lauded HJS activities and explanations on various aspects of celebrating the Navaratri festival.
