Maharashtra : ‘Shastra-puja’ by HJS and devout Hindus on the occasion of ‘Vijayadashami’

HJS activists praying during ‘shastra-puja’

Shri Durgadevi fought with Mahishasura on the day of ‘Vijayadashami’. Prabhu Shriram had slain Ravana on this day. Arjuna had taken out his weapons from the ‘Shami’ tree-hole and defeated Kauravas; therefore, let us also make the resolve of establishing Hindu Rashtra today. Our victory is certain. Instead of waiting for getting attacked, Hindus need to prepare themselves by getting trained in fighting against injustice as it is the need of the hour. Women should also keep the brave warrior women from our glorious history as their ideal and learn from history, stated Dr. Satish Bagul of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

A program was held by HJS at Siddhivinayak Mandir in the Desaipura area for performing ritualistic worship of weapons. Shri. Hemant and Shri. s Asha Hemant Patil performed the ‘puja’; before which prayer was made to Adishakti.

Shri. Sanjay Trivedi, the priest of Shri Siddhivinayak Mandir, Dr Upendra Shah, reporter Yogendra Joshi, Shri. Ganesh Sonar, devout Hindus viz. Ujjwal Rajput, Pankaj Dabi, Dheeraj Chaudhari, Akash Gavit, Bhushan Bagul, Gaurav Dhamane, Vijay Joshi, Bharat More, Yogesh Joshi, etc were present on the occasion.
