HJS organize public awareness program for flag code

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has launched a program of creating awareness among the public regarding Flag Code and drawing their attention to prevent misuse of National Flag. The program was inaugurated in Udupi at 6.00PM on 23.01.2007 in City Bus Stand by tying two flex banners depicting Flag Code to city buses.

Shri. Dinakar Shetty, Herga the town president of BJP while inaugurating the program said that every citizen in India should have love and respect towards National Flag and that he should have awareness as to how to use and respect our National Flag. He wished that the program initiated by HJS be a grand success. He appealed to all the citizens to join hands with HJS in creating awareness regarding National Flag.

The representatives from various Hindu organizations like BJP, VHP, Bhajarang Dal, Hindu Yuva Sena & Hindu Jagarana Vedike participated in the program. About 40 people including Sanatan Sanstha’s Seekers were present in the program. HJS has brought out printed posters also highlighting the flag code, which are being displayed in public places apart from being given to schools colleges and other Hindu organizations.
