Vastraharan show cancelled

Ratnagiri: On the occasion of Sree Ganesh Jayanti, a show of Marathi anti-religion play ‘Vastraharan’ was organized at local ‘Sree Vitthal-Rakhumai temple’. Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Hindu Organizations made the concerned persons aware about the mockery of Hindu deities and characters from the epic ‘Mahabharat’ made in the said play and requested that such play should not be staged. The President of the temple trust and the presenter of the play responded positively to the appeal and decided to cancel the show.
