Interference of politicians in the activities of Hindu temples !

Issue of temple priests in Tamilnadu !

Bharat is a secular country but such secularism seems to be expected only from Hindus while non-Hindus follow their religion very meticulously and the Government and administration seems to be kneeling before non-Hindus. Hindus, though the majority population of this country, have been given a strong dose of secularism and put to sleep for the last 74 years. Those, who should awaken Hindus and create love and respect amongst them towards Dharma and their own identity, are falling victims to fake secularism and trying to gain political benefits. In such a situation, if someone tries to create awareness, though not fanaticism, amongst Hindus and makes a demand for Hindus to proudly abide by Dharma, then attempts are made to finish such a person by branding him as a ‘Sanatani’, fascist, ‘Talibani’ etc. Small and big pro-Hindu organizations are trying to fight against various attacks on Hindus. The Union Government also tries to help depending upon the prevailing political situation; but the fact is, nobody is doing what is expected to be done under our Dharma and ‘Dharmashastra’.

In 36000 temples taken over by Tamil Nadu Government in the State, the State Government is going to appoint priests from communities other than the Brahmin community; besides women are also going to be appointed as priests in temples. Similar decisions have been earlier taken in Kerala State and in Sri Vitthal-Rakhumai Mandir, Pandharpur in Maharashtra which has also been given effect to. Devout Hindu activists and their organizations in the State have tried to oppose this decision to some extent. Finally, its implementation was done after the Court’s order. It is observed that it is not possible to do anything before power. BJP has opposed such a decision in Tamil Nadu but while in power in Maharashtra, it didn’t seem to have done anything to cancel a similar decision. Moreover, demand was made for similar appointment and BJP got it approved for making such appointment in Sri Mahalakshmi Mandir, Kolhapur; however, it is yet to be implemented. Hindus and their organizations oppose such attacks on Hindu Dharma but nothing seems to be done; besides, it is observed that those, who are expected to do something in these matters, seem to back off; making it more miserable for Hindus. It is wrong on Governments’ part to take over management of temples. Hindus are opposed to it; however, political parties are justifying such action.

‘Dharmashastra’ has to be followed !

It is quite clear that removal of brahmin priests from temples has been done only out of brahmin-hatred. If a few brahmins might have misused power given to them under Dharma, it does not mean that the whole brahmin community is guilty. Secularists always say that all Muslims are not jihadi terrorists. Then, how can it be  said that all Brahmins are bad? In a private office or government departments, appointments are made in 4 categories and nobody has ever opposed the same. This system has been followed for many decades and it won’t be wrong to say that it has been done as per the ‘Varnashram’ system under Hindu Dharma. Action is taken against officers or employees if they shirk from their duty. Similar procedure can be followed even in case of priests appointed in temples when they too make mistakes or when any faults are found in them but a person from another category cannot replace such a person. It is, however, totally wrong and against ‘Dharmashastra’ to do something only out of brahmin-hatred. The same thing is presently happening in the States of Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu and it should be opposed by devout Hindus. It is not a matter related to caste-hatred or caste-system but it is a matter of ‘Dharmashastra’ and Hindus have the right to decide. No Government or political party should interfere in such matters. Though Bharat is a secular democracy, the Constitution of India has given freedom to every individual to follow his religion and everyone needs to remember the same; still when there is interference, it is like the Mughal Rule. It may be mentioned here that such interference is found only in case of Hindus and not in case of non-Hindus. Many incidents have come to light where it has been proved that madrasas are creating terrorists. Why then is there no demand for appointment of teachers by the government in madrasas?  Why no demand is made by these so-called secularists and pro(re)gressive people. There have been incidents reported in other countries and Bharat wherein Pastors/ Fathers have sexually exploited nuns and small children. Why then, is there no demand to make appointments in church by the government or why the government on its own is not doing anything on observing improper things happening around us? It is a well-known fact that DMK and communist government of Kerala are anti-Hindus so such political parties will take action against Hindus. Isn’t it a decision against democracy? Isn’t it a violation of Constitutional rights? Isn’t it communalism? Hindus and their parties should therefore, unite to prevent such incidents and stop such anti-Hindu political parties for establishing righteous Hindu Rashtra. If it is not done, these Hindu-hating political parties may appoint non-Hindus in Hindus’ temples under the guise of secularism. Already funds collected in Hindu temples are being utilised in the interests of non-Hindus; so, please note that in future, the control of Hindus’ temples might also go to these people.
