Thane (Maharashtra): Rajmata Jijau, Mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was paid obeisance on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Thane, Bhivandi, Murbad in Dist. Thane. Hundreds of Devout Hindus were present for the program.

At the beginning an inspiring song ’Dharmachya Karita Amhas Jagati …..‘ was presented. Thereafter the picture of Jijau was offered pooja. Later information pertaining to the present condition of the Nation and Dharma was given to the audience. Mrs. Supriya Gaikwad addresses a gathering at New MHADA  Colony at Vartaknagar at Thane and Mrs. Manisha Kshirsagar gave a talk at Gorsai at Bhivandi. Mr. Vinod Palan gave a talk in Santoshimata Mandir, at Matanagar at Murbad. An inspiring song on Shivaray, ’Shivarayanche athavave roop ….. ‘ was sung collectively.

Highlights : 1. Ladies at MHADA and youth at Murbad expressed their desire to have Dharmashikashan varga form next week; whereas the young girls at Gorsai asked for self-defence training in their area.
