Ratnagiri : Hindu organizations condemn NSUI for insulting Swatantryaveer Savarkar

Ratnagiri : Students’ Unions promoted by Congress and Communist parties accused ‘Swatantryaveer’ Savarkar as being a traitor and vandalized his statue installed at Delhi University. Several pro-Hindu organizations publicly condemned this incident by staging demonstrations in front of Swa. Savarkar’s statue at Lakshmi Chowk, on 26th August. Representation was also submitted to Dy. District Collector Shri. Datta Bhadakwad after demonstrations.

‘Hindu Rashtra Sena’s Ratnagiri-President Shri. Sagar Kadam, Shri. Shrinath Sawant, Shri. Atul Kulye; ‘Shri Shivapratisthan Hindustan’s Ratnagiri-President Shri. Rakesh Nalawade, Shri. Devendra Zapadekar, Shri. Nandkumar Salwi, Shri. Pradip Salwi, Shri. Vijay Sawant; ‘Brahman Jagruti Seva Sangh’s Shri. Pranav Sarpotdar, ‘Ratnagiri Grahak Panchayat’s Founder-member Shri. Jayant Athalye, Shri. Ashok Ghate; Sanatan Sanstha’s Shri. Chandrashekhar Gudekar, Sou. Shubhangi Mulye, Shri. Prabhakar Supal; Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Shri. Purushottam Wagle, Shri. Pramod Bhadakamkar, Shri. Milind More, Shri. Sanjay Joshi etc were present on the occasion.

‘Akhil Bharaiya Vidyarthi Parishad’ had installed statues of Swatantryaveer Savarkar, Netaji Subhashchandra Bose and martyr Bhagatsingh at Delhi University. Members of National Students’ Union of India promoted by Congress garlanded Swa. Savarkar’s statue with shoes as also blackened the statue. This action was supported by members of ‘All India Students’ Association’ promoted by communists. Stringent action should be taken against both these organizations, demanded Shri. Sagar Kadam, the President of ‘Hindu Rashtra Sena’.

Swa. Savarkar united Hindus who were divided in castes and creed. Swa. Savarkar’s family has also sacrificed everything for freedom of this country. It is condemnable that such great revolutionary is being referred to as a traitor and we publicly condemn the same. By blackening the statue or by garlanding it with shoes, his ideology would never be wiped out and it should be remembered by anti-national organizations. Swa. Savarkar’s radiant and intense ‘Hindutva’ thoughts will always inspire Hindus and he will hold a special place in Hindus’ hearts, which members of anti-national organizations need to understand. Shri. Sanjay Joshi of HJS demanded that ban should be imposed on both the above organizations involved in such misdeed.
