Sri Ram Navami has been always celebrated with the march in the city but this time devout Hindus pre planned to invite more and more Hindus to participate and get united. HJS’ unique ‘Jago Hindu’ SMS were also sent to the local Hindus regarding the march. Several other Hindu organisations were present and serve the devout Hindus in this mega march.

One of the incredible part of this march was devout Hindus were not expected that much in number in a very hot afternoon when the sun was over the head and the temperature was heating up with the hot wind. The march had the statues of Rani Avanti Bai, Sri Shiva and Sri Ram. It had also promoted the values of cows (Gomata) by including the Gomata in the march. The organisers gave press addresses in between the march.

When it comes to the security or the police, like always the police forced to change the route of the march. Rapid Action Force (RAF), special police and including the city police were seemed prepared for everything. Several roads were blocked or some routes were changed. According to a devout Hindu – the police were forcing and disturbing the march very much and changing the routes. The policemen were seen on top of the residences and shops with cameras and so on.

The march began around 12 PM and ended in the city’s Gowliguda Sri Ram temple around 7 PM. Throughout the march ladies and even kids were found shouting slogans of Lord Sri Ram. Around 45,000 Hindus were present in this march.
