Union Transport Ministry takes note of representation submitted by Poraskade residents

Hindus have to give warning to Govt. for saving their 400 years old temple; while Archaeology Department is considering Christians’ demand of treating 200 years old church as heritage. In no other country, local majority population must be treated with such baseness !

Panaji : The local residents of Poraskade, Pedane have strongly opposed to plan of demolition of 400 years old Shri Maulidevi Mandir and Shri Vetaldev Mandir, for widening of national highway. Local residents had earlier sent a letter to Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on this issue and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s personal secretary Vaibhav Dange informed the local residents about receiving their representation and forwarding it to the Director General of Union Surface Transport Ministry for further action.
