Thane: Good response to follow-up meeting after Dharmasabha

Demand made to hold FACT’s photo- exhibition

Thane (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had organized Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha on 20th February in Vartaknagar area in Thane. A meeting was recently held for those devout ‘jidnyasu (curious)’ Hindus who were impressed with the activities of HJS and wanted to join such activities. There was a good response to the meeting by Hindus. It has been decided to hold ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes every Wednesday at 6.30 p.m. in Brahman Vidyalaya.

In the beginning of the meeting, VCD was  shown on the topic ‘Sanatan Hindu Dharma and present position’ followed with Mr. Ajay Sambhus of HJS explaining the importance of ‘Dharmacharan’, how to nurture respect and love towards Dharma through our daily activities. He gave information about various campaigns and drives undertaken by HJS and made an appeal to the participants to join the activities. Mr. Pedanekar, a devout Hindu expressed a wish to hold photo-exhibition devised by FACT on oppression of Hindus in Kashmir and Bangla Desh. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Dilip Bartakke, a Shiv Sena municipal councilor from Savarkarnagar and Mr. Rajendran, the Trustee of Ayappa Temple.
