Spark of ‘Hindutva’ kindled in sabha with more than 950 devout Hindus’ active participation

Shiroli-Pulachi (Dist. Kolhapur) : There is restriction on displaying posters depicting a scene in which Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is shown while pulling out guts of Afzal Khan. Hindus are prevented from telling their brilliant history. What will we tell our future generation if we forget history ? It is now time to say it with pride and boldness that ‘I am a Hindu’, stated advocate Samir Patwardhan of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad (HVP) and President of ‘Advocate Parishad’ during ‘Hindu Rashtra-jagruti Sabha (sabha)’ held on 3rd December at Shri Birdev Mandir.

Shri. Manoj Khadye, Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Gujarat, western Maharashtra and Konkan region, Dr. (Sou.) Shilpa Kothavale of Sanatan Sanstha also addressed more than 950 devout Hindus attending the ‘sabha’.

Invited dignitaries and devout Hindus first had ‘darshan’ of ‘Gram-devata’ Shri Biradev. The ‘sabha’ was compeered by Shri. Kiran Duse and Sou. Bhakti Miraje of HJS. The ‘sabha’ was started with blowing of conch and lighting of lamp. Advocate Samir Patwardhan was welcomed by Shri. Rajesh Patil, former Sarpanch and ‘Kamgar Patil’. Shri. Manoj Khadye was welcomed by Shri. Shashikant Khavare, Sarpanch appointed by people and Dr. (Sou.) Shobha Kothavale was welcomed by Sou. Pushpa Patil, a member of ‘Gram-Panchayat’. H.B.P. Vitthaltatya Patil was specially felicitated by advocate Samir Patwardhan. The ‘sabha’ was concluded with recitation of ‘Dhyeya-mantra’.

Highlights

1. There was huge participation by devout Hindus right from the beginning of this ‘sabha’. Participation of devout Hindus increased so much that the number of chairs set earlier fell short and seating arrangement had to be made at another place. Few devout Hindus had to stand during the ‘sabha’.

2. Participation of women in the ‘sabha’ was quite noteworthy. Some of them waited till end even for review meeting held after the ‘sabha’. Small children also attended the ‘sabha’.

3. Many people video-recorded the ‘sabha’.

4. The ‘sabha’ was also shown live through ‘Facebook live’ and more than 12000 watched the ‘sabha’.
