Hindu organisations in Goa extend support for protests to save Sabarimala tradition

Announcement made in press conference held at Panaji by ‘Gomantak Hindu Pratishthan’

Pro-Hindu organizations from Goa extend support to agitation staged for protection of traditions followed in temple !Issue related to women’s entry in Sabarimala temple (Kerala)

Panaji : Supreme Court has passed a verdict in case of Sabarimala temple (Kerala) allowing entry to women. Women from Kerala and devout citizens have staged a campaign against this verdict. The campaign, which has been started for protection of traditions followed by Hindus, will have support of all pro-Hindu organizations from Goa. These organizations will stage demonstrations at Azad Maidan, Panaji on 13th November at 4.00 p.m. and chanting session has been organized at Sri Ayyappa temple at Mangor Hill, Vasco on 18th November from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. by ‘Goa Nair Sanghatana’ which will have support of all pro-Hindu organizations from Goa, informed Shri. Shailendra Velingkar of ‘Gomantak Hindu Pratishthan’ during a press conference. Shri. K.R.S. Nair of ‘Goa Nair Sanghatana’, Shri. Suresh Arondekar of ‘Vishal Gomantak Sena’, Shri. Madhav Virdikar of ‘Shivayoddha Sanghatana’, Shri. Suresh Dicholkar of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ organization, Shri. Kamalesh Bandekar of ‘Bharat Swabhiman’ and Sou. Rajashree Gadekar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were the main dignitaries present on the occasion.

All dignitaries attending press conference commended the agitation successfully staged against decision allowing women from all age groups to go to Sabarimala Temple. They also said that pro-Hindu organizations from Goa need to show such unity for protection of traditions followed by Hindus.
