Rashtriya Hindu Andolan held at Solapur

Give the charge of all temples in the hands of devotees and declare the nation a Hindu Rashtra ! – Sudhir Bahirwade, City vice president, Hindu Mahasabha

Solapur : Why the Government is bent upon taking charge of only Hindu temples, why cannot it dare to take charge of places of worship of other Faiths, is this Government’s secularism ? Government is not bothered about the Historical forts conquered by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharj and which are in a very dilapidated state; but it has its eye on the wealth belonging to temples. There was a demand made to the Government by the sharadhyasha of Hindu Mahasabha, Shri. Sudhir Bahirwade at the main gate of Jilha Parishad, asking for giving the charge of temples to all devotees and declaring the nation a Hindu Rashtra. At the same time the demand regarding cancelling the decision of the Karnataka Government of naming the ‘Haj House’ as Tipu Sulan, the most cruel tormentor of Hindus and glorifying him like this.

Shri. Balraj Dontul of Padmashali Purohit Sangh, Sou. Anita Bunge, Sou. Rajashree Deshmukh of Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Rajan Bunge of HJS spoke to the gathering on this occasion. Many pro-Hidus were present then, namely Shri. Vitthal Nora, Shri. Appa Gavali, Shri. Krushna Raichrkar, Shri. Akash Sriram, Shri. Vitthal Garad of Yoga Vedant Samiti, Shri. Vinayak Patil of Hindu Mahasabha and many others in large numbers. After the andolan a representation was handed over to the resident Deputy Collector Shri. Sanjay Teli.

Shri. Bahirwade said further, the Government will have to pay a heavy price in 2019 elections if the Government fails to revive its policy. Instead of taking custody of temples the Government should pay more attention to the administration.
