Memorandum submitted to Mayor and Municipal Commissioner, Navi Mumbai to prevent insult of National Flag

Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra) : The Nation Flag, which is an identity of the Nation, is hoisted with great reverence on 26th January; but after some time, the same flags are found on the roads, trampled by people. This is an insult of the National Flag; therefore, the Administration should take action to prevent such insult. Memorandum with the above demand was submitted to Mr. Sagar Naik, the Mayor of Navi Mumbai by a delegation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). Similar memoranda were submitted to even the Municipal Commissioner and Dy. Municipal Commissioner of Navi Mumbai.

Mr. Sagar Naik said, “I will soon publish an appeal in this context in the newspapers.” HJS delegation comprised of Dr. Uday Dhuri, Mr. Shekhar Gudupalli, Mr. Shivanand Mangarule, Mr. Naresh Birajdar, Mr. Sagar Chopdar and Mr. Vinayak Deshpande.
