Devout Hindus take part in temple-cleaning drive in Mumbai

Mumbai : On 28th April, devout Hindus and seekers so also readers of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals joined the drive for cleaning of Ganapati temple at Bhatwadi in Ghatkopar (East). Temple trustees granted permission for explaining the subject after ‘aarti’ on 3rd May.

On 29th April, seekers of Sanatan Sanstha cleaned Pimpaleshwar Mahadev Temple at Jogeshwari, joined by devout Hindus.

On 30th April, devout Hindus and seekers cleaned Datta Mandir at Virar (East). Shri. Vaidya, temple trustee extended necessary cooperation.

On 1st May, Hanuman temple at Andheri (W) was cleaned by seekers and readers of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals. Gaondevi temple was also cleaned at Nerul ( Navi Mumbai).

On 3rd May, Shri Saibaba Mandir at Santacruz was cleaned by devout Hindus, seekers and subscribers of Sanatan periodicals. Devout Hindus took part in this drive and cleaned the temple with lot of devotion as if the temple belonged to them.

Devout Hindus clean temple at Boisar

Boisar : On 1st May, devout Hindus and Sanatan seekers cleaned Datta Mandir at Dattawadi. Shri. Sanjay Narkhede and Shri. Kolhe extended cooperation. Two young boys aged 11 and 12 yrs also took part in cleaning drive. One of them said, “Cleaning of temple along with seekers was a meritorious task.”

Special prayers offered to Shri Ganesh at ‘Durvapriya Ganesh Mandir’ !

Mumbai : On 6th May, 45 persons including devout Hindus, ‘Hindutvavadis’, Sanatan seekers and readers of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals along with Ganesh-devotees, ‘jidnyasus’ and Shri. Sadashiv Kulkarni, the Priest of the temple made special prayers to the Deity. Shri. Satish Sonar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) first explained the purpose and importance of making such prayers. He also explained about ‘Hindu Rashtra Jagruti Abhiyan’. Shri. Santosh Gupta of Bajarang Dal said, “Hindu Rashtra as envisaged by Saints will certainly be established if all Hindus participated in every campaign and work for ‘Hindutva’. I shall regularly join every drive undertaken by HJS; along with my colleagues.”

Shri. Ramakrushna Rao of Vishwa Hindu Parishad spoke about Hindus’ facing various problems such as love jihad, cow-slaughter and conversions etc. He said that it was therefore, necessary for every Hindu to join ‘Hindu Rashtra Jagruti Abhiyan’ started by HJS. He decided to arrange for work-shop at Powai, on the subject of ‘Right to Information’.  Shri. Vilas Marlekar, Trustee of ‘Durvapriya Ganesh Mandir’ expressed joy over such drive undertaken in the temple.

Cleaning of Shri Mahadev temple at Airoli brings change in the atmosphere !

Airoli (Navi Mumbai) : On 1st May, devout women, well-wishers of Sanatan/ HJS and child-seekers cleaned Mahadev temple. A devotee joined the cleaning drive after listening to the topic when he had gone to this temple for ‘darshan’. He suggested that such drive should be undertaken even in future. People present in the temple felt lot of change in the atmosphere after the temple was cleaned. On 3rd May, special prayers were made to Bhagavan Dattatreya by the Priest at Shri Datta Mandir in Sector 17. Three devout women and three seekers were present on the occasion.
