The Chief Guest of the program, Mr. B.R.Haran, Senior Journalist delivered his presidential address. In his short speech, well within the time limit, he covered all the important aspects and successful campaigns of HJS web-site. It was delivered with such force and conviction that the audience received it with thunderous applause now and then. He told that the four main pillars of a Nation are the Judiciary, Legislature, Executive and the Media. Even if the other three went wrong the fourth pillar namely the Media has the powerto set right the things. But, unfortunately, we are having a Media which has ruined the morale and culture of the younger generation. In this deplorable condition, HJS web-site has risen to the occasion and is contributing wonderfully to bring back the rich culture and heritage. Through its web-site, it imparts Dharma sikshan, creates awareness among Hindus, uniting them under one umbrella, has an expansive outlook, stops denigration and protects Hindu Dharma. He applauded the phenomenal growth of HJS web-site within a short span of 3 years.

HJS representative, Mrs. Uma Ravichandran then presented the HJS activities in general and about Chennai activities in particular. She spoke about the Naamjap procession, denigration of Deities through advertisement, successful campaigns, the awareness created regarding the malpractices during community utsavs, the various Dharma Sikshan methods, the distortion of history by NCERT and the Samiti’s efforts regarding that, the various programs conducted in schools, protest against christianisation of the country, FACT exhibition in Dharma Sabhas, awareness to stop the menace of Love Jihad etc. The need of the hour to take part in samashti activities was stressed.
