Ill effects of takeover of temples by Govt !

Solapur : Food and Drugs Department recently checked all hotels and shops in Pandharpur in the background of ‘Ashadhi’ pilgrimage. It was observed during this check that there was lack of cleanliness in the ‘prasad-bhandar’ of  Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir. The ‘laddus’ distributed as ‘prasad’ were also found to be of sub-standard quality; therefore, notice has been issued to this shop. (If such is the condition at Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir, the ‘Aradhya-Daivat’ of whole Maharashtra, situation in other temples taken over by the Government must be worse. There is no alternative to establishment of Hindu Rashtra for improving conditions of temples ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

180 hotels and shops en route Palakhi Marg were checked and the concerned were issued notices for improvement in their condition. A report has also been called for by undertaking immediate improvements at the place where the ‘prasad’ is made. Assistant Commissioner Sanjay Naragde gave the above information. Now, direct cases are going to be filed during such checking-drive.
