Gawaliwadi-Khanderajuri : Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha was held here and all the preparations were made by local devout Hindus. The ‘sabha’ was attended by 70 men and 25 women.

‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale has created a treasure of books explaining various subjects and spirituality in scientific language. Under ‘Hindu Rashtra-jagruti Abhiyan’, ‘Oti’ was offered to Shri Mahalakshmi Devi, the ‘Gramdevata’ of Gawaliwadi and prayer was made for establishment of Hindu Rashtra. Shri. Yuvaraj Gawali, Shri. Arvind Gawali, Shri. Anil Gawali, Shri. Nitish Gawali, Shri. Amol Gawali, Shri. Vikram Gawali, Shri. Kedar Gawali and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Shri. Manoj Gawali, Shri. Girish Pujari, Sanatan Sanstha’s Kum. Surekha Acharya and Sou. Sneha Pujari participated in the prayers.

The speciality of this village is there is not a single non-Hindu. No dispute is taken to police station but local people sit together and solve the problems. The number of Warkaris in this village is quite high. A ‘dindi’ is taken out to Pandharpur from this village and ‘Dnyaneshwari-parayan’ is also held every year.
