Incident exhibiting futility of democracy !
Will the Election Commission take action or keep mum in this matter ?
Kolhapur (Maharashtra) – It has been found in the voters’ list that there are 76 people with different surnames registered on the same address as of Hassan Mushrif, NCP’s candidate and former minister. Shri. Parshuram Tavare, BJP’s candidate has decided to lodge a complaint with Election Commission in this context. (It shows how Mushrif was getting elected for so many years. 1. Kagal is a Constituency which is known to be very sensitive and Mushrif has been representing it for past 20 years.
2. On the address of Mushrif, persons with surnames like Kolhapure, a Hindu; so also persons with names like Makandar, Sharif Masalat, Sheikh, Jamadar, Pinjare, Piranzade, Mahat, Mulla, Mullani, Sanadi etc. in all 75 fanatics, are registered in voters’ list.
3. Mushrif hails from Linganur village near Kagal and his son Naved Mushrif’s name is also listed but they do not own a house there. This information was given by local residents.
4. On the address given by Mushrif as house No. 143 and 143-1 at Linganur, his worker Bhagavan Gujare stays.
5. Hassan Mushrif refused to give any statement in this matter; but his wife Sahira said that those people stayed near their house but they must have given their address as near Mushrif’s house, creating such confusion.

Maharashtra : Copies of Hindus’ text ‘Dnyaneshwari’ with Hassan Mushrif’s photo distributed

Will anyone dare to publish photo of any Hindu elected representative on copies of Quran ?
Democratic rule has not been able to prevent rulers from using Hindus’ Holy Scriptures for political gain and such ineffective democracy is of no use !
Kolhapur (Maharashtra) – Photo of Hassan Mushrif, NCP’s candidate and former State Minister for Water Resources, has been printed on the back side of copies of Hindu’s holy text ‘Dnyaneshwari’. Such copies are being distributed in this period of election so as to get Hindus’ votes. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Warakari Sampradaya (Sect) have taken objection to it. Devout Hindus have warned that it was the insult of Dharma and Mushrif should render apology for the same; else they would boycott elections. It is understood that 35,000 copies of such Dnyaneshwari have been printed and 10,000 copies have so far been distributed.

2. On the edition of Dnyaneshwari published by H.B.P. Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Patil, Mushrif’s photo has been printed on last page. His name has also been printed on its first page as ‘Santa-charan-raja: Shri. Hassan Mushrif. (Ref. Dainik Bhaskar)

We, on behalf of Warakari Sampradaya, openly condemn printing of Mushrif’s photograph on ‘Dnyaneshwari’. It is wrong to play with religious sentiments of Hindus and use them for votes. Hindus’ religious sentiments are not so cheap. Mushrif should render apology to Warakari Sampradaya.

The method of election canvassing of Mushrif is aimed at provoking Hindus because ‘Dnyaneshwari’ is a main revered scripture of Hindus. Mushrif has used it for his election canvassing and insulted the Holy Scripture. A complaint will be lodged with election commission in this regard. Mushrif and NCP should render apology to people; else people will boycott all candidates of NCP.

‘Dnyaneshwari’ is a sacred book of Hindus. Even we don’t touch it without having bath. It is wrong to print Mushrif’s photo on such holy book. It is playing with religious sentiments of Hindus and Shiv Sena will not tolerate such anti-Dharma acts. Someone may try to print a person’s photo on Quran and distribute the same. Hindus need to think about misdeeds of helpless candidates who can do anything for votes in exchange of something. The only solution to all the problems is unification of Hindus !

It is wrong to print a photo on ‘Dnyaneshwari’ for getting political benefit and it is not acceptable to Warakari Sampradaya as it is devaluation of ‘Dnyaneshwari’. ‘Dnyaneshwari’ is for the benefit of whole world. It can be read or studied by a person of any religion; but it is wrong to derive political gain out of it. If Mushrif believes in ‘Lord Pandurang’, he should wear ‘tulsi-mala’ and join our Sampradaya. All Warakaris will certainly welcome him.
