Why we must stop such Denigration of Hindu Deities?

News 24 Channel has depicted Famous cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as Lord Sreeram, thereby denigrating Lord Sreeram. It is wrong to humanise deities as Human can’t be compared as Deity. They have also made denigratory ‘Sree Sachincharitmanas’ on the basis of ‘Sree Ramcharitmanas’ written by Saint Tulsidas. It is duty of all Hindus to protest lawfully against News 24 channel so that it should render apology to billions of Hindus worldwide for hurting their religious sentiments.

Sinful act of ‘News 24’ channel

‘Sreeramcharitmanas’ becomes ‘Sree Sachincharitmanas’

Sangola (Dist. Solapur, Maharashtra): It was the birthday of the renowned cricketer Mr. Sachin Tendulkar on 24th April. ‘News 24’, a Hindi news channel had telecast a program on the occasion presenting the greatness of Tendulkar’s game. On 25th April, the channel telecast the program from 11.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon in which Mr. Sachin Tendulkar was shown in the form of Prabhu Sreeram. A song was also shown on the lines of ‘Sreeramcharitmanas’ as ‘Sree Sachincharitmanas’. (‘News 24’ channel has thus hurt religious sentiments of Hindus. The channel should be condemned for the same. It is only because Hindus are over tolerant that their Deities, scriptures etc. are ridiculed in such disgraceful manner. Hindus must know that opposing such matters in lawful manner, is also a kind of ‘Dharmapalan’! – Editor SP)

The following lines were being shown as baselines in praise of Mr. Sachin Tendulkar in line with the ‘Sreeramcharitmanas’ by the anti-Dharma ‘News 24’ channel along with opinions of his co-players –

‘T-20 mein tum hi chhaye, Jai master blaster Jai jai jai II Tumhare record koi chhu nahi paaye, shatakon ka tum shatak lagao, aagla world-cup tum jit lao, saare world-record tumhaare naam ho, saaraa jag tumhe sallam kare II

(Meaning : In the ‘T-20’ tournament, you only shone. Jai master ….; nobody has been able to stop you from making new records; you make a century of centuries; you win the next world-cup for us; let all the world records be in your name; let the whole world bow before you. )

In the end of the program, it was also written that it was not the intention to hurt religious sentiments of anybody. (What hypocrisy of ‘New 24’! On one hand, denigrate Hindu Deity and on the other hand, give such explanation to avoid outrage of Hindus. Would the channel dare to show such matters involving things worshipped by followers of other religions? – Editor SP)

We saw your program on Sachin Tendulakar on 25th April 10. Sachin is great in the game of cricket but cannot be God like Lord Ram. You have hurt our religious feelings by telecasting this program. How you dare to compare Sachin with Lord Ram? Do you know the divine characteristics Lord Ram has? Do you know the kind of work Lord Ram did and is doing for the Universe? First try to understand this and then you will come to know that Gods cannot be compared. They are unique!

Can you compare Sachin or anybody with Prophet Mohammad? You will never do this because you know the end result which can be as severe as death in cruel way!

You have also showed the bottom line saying we are not intending to hurt anybodies religious feelings. This itself indicates that you have done this intentionally! You must openly say sorry and publish your apology on your channel.

As per Indian Pinal Code 295 A this is an offence and we as a group are seeking legal advice on this matter.
