Devout Hindus present for the meeting organised by HJS

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organised a meeting of devout Hindus at BMS Hall, Kallai Road, Kozhikode, Kerala, on March 18, 2012. It got overwhelming response.

Today there are continuous attacks on Hindu Dharma, Deities, Temples, Nation etc.  Root cause of these attacks and need for establishment of Hindu Rashtra were the topics that were explained in detail by Ms. Rashmi Parameshwaran of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. The major part in this Dharmakarya is being carried out by Samiti’s website and hence it was explained in detail to the devout Hindus. The efforts undertaken by the staunch Pro-Hindu Monthly Sanatan Prabhat to educate Hindus on Dharma and instill correct perspective on various issues faced by Dharma and Nation, was explained by Ms. Praneeta Sukhtankar.

In the discussion held after the presentations, all the participants showed lot of readiness to work for Dharma and help HJS.

Reactions of devout Hindus

1. Many people were of the opinion that the CDs of science behind various achardharma should be broadcasted through various channels. When they were told that we are already doing it and that we are trying to launch channel of our own, the devout Hindus were so happy that few of them clapped their hands.

2. A devout Hindu, while praising the activities of HJS, said that such young girls doing the work of Dharmaprasar is very appreciable. We should learn from them.

3. Many were surprised at the vast activities undertaken by HJS in a short span of time.

4. Many agreed to the fact that gaining spiritual strength is necessary for establishing Hindu Rashtra and for that Hindus should do Dharmacharan.

Highlights of the program

1. Local devout Hindus helped in arranging the program in all aspects.
2. Few devout Hindus are ready to find out sponsors for Dharmashikshan flex posters
3. Many people are ready to arrange for Satsangs and Pravachans on Hindu Dharma locally.
4. A devout Hindu stated that during his mother’s 75 birthday celebrations, he celebrated her birthday according to Hindu Dharma by doing aukshan, as shown in the Dharmik kruti VCD of Sanatan Sanstha. Around 100 people had come to his house for the celebrations. They were all shown the above Video CD which explains the science behind various rituals in Hindu Dharma and the actual way of doing them. Later on, many of them asked him about how to celebrate birthday according to Hindu culture. The same Dharmabhimani had distributed 50 Sanatan Panchang 2012 and is ready to distribute 200 panchang in 2013.
5. Many people gave order for 2013 Sanatan Panchang beforehand.
6. An old person could not attend the program, but instead sent his son for the meeting.
7. An old lady agreed to do translation of various articles on Hindu Dharma into the local language.
8. Few people who could not attend the program due to various reasons, called up to say so or came and visited the hall before time.
9. Some devout Hindus became subscribers of the pro-Hindu paper, Sanatan Prabhat.

The strength of Hindus in Kozhikode is very less as the district is a Muslim majority district, still the willingness of devout Hindus to work for Dharma is much more than in other districts of Kerala.
