‘Kranti Gatha’ exhibition organised by HJS across Chiplun schools on Independence Day

Over 300 students enthusiastically participate

Chiplun, Maharashtra – On the occasion of Independence Day, a grand ‘Kranti Gatha’ exhibition was organised across various schools in Chiplun taluka of Ratnagiri district. The event witnessed an enthusiastic response, with 319 students visiting the displays to learn about Bharat’s valourous revolutionaries.

Participating schools included – Shri Rajaram Raghojirao Shinde Secondary School (Owali), Suman Vidyalaya (Terav), New English School and Junior College (Kherdi-Chinchghari, Kalambaste branch), and Vidya Bharati Bharatiya Shiksha Sankul Gurukul (Shiral).

This exhibition highlighted the remarkable contributions of revolutionaries to Bharat’s freedom struggle, shedding light on many unsung heroes. The inspiring displays sparked immense curiosity among the students, who eagerly engaged with the material. Deeply moved by what they learned, many shared reflective feedback and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the freedom fighters.

During their visit to the ‘Kranti Gatha’ exhibition at Vidya Bharati Bharatiya Shiksha Sankul Gurukul, Shiral, Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders Uday Chitale and Kulkarni Sir commended the initiative. Expressing their support, they noted, “The work being done by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is truly inspiring. It is vital for today’s youth to learn about our revolutionaries. We extend our warmest wishes for your ongoing efforts.”

Student feedback

Students expressed deep inspiration after viewing the exhibition. Kumari Sushma Raju Gautam and fellow students shared that learning about the revolutionary movement filled them with national pride, while Kumari Vedika Deepak Waykar noted gaining valuable insights into key historical figures such as the Chapekar brothers, Anant Kanhere, Harihar and Bukka Raya, Mangal Pandey, and Vasudev Balwant Phadke.

Overall, students reflected that the displays provided a powerful glimpse into the true scale of the freedom struggle.
