Devout Hindus resolve to take part in activities for protection of Dharma

Palghar (Thane, Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had held Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha on 20th February at Palghar. A follow up meeting was held on 25th February in Sree Ambamata Mandir, near Pach Batti, Mahim Road, Palghar (W) which was attended by Mr. Sadanand Panchal of HJS. He addressed the participants.

He said that it is necessary to work for protection of Nation and Dharma without expecting anything in return; in fact, it has become like oxygen for us because the condition of Dharma is so bad. We must follow ‘Dharmacharan’ and work with unity as in Kali-yuga, collective power will only be effective. Mr. Prabhakar Naik, a devout Hindu resolved to take part in the activities for protection of Dharma and demanded to organize a lecture on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. He also offered to take responsibility of putting up display- boards at various places. Mr. Anil Chavan demanded to organize a book-exhibition at Safale on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. Mrs. Pallavi Thakur and Mr. Prasad Dandekar have taken the responsibility of putting up display-boards at Palghar and Safale respectively, five persons subscribed, from 1st March 2011, to ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’, a periodical that publishes news about attacks on Nation and Dharma quite fearlessly.

It was unanimously agreed that Hindus must be imparted ‘Dharmashikshan’ and a demand was made in the meeting to hold ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes. It has been decided to hold such classes every Friday in Sree Ambamata Mandir from 4th March between 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. Mrs. Lakshmibai Hazare, Vice-president (women’s wing) of BJP for Thane District, Mr. Jain, a senior member of BJP, Mr. Ashok Khulge, a journalist with ‘Dainik Tarun Bharat’, Palghar were the other dignitaries who attended the meeting. Mr. Jain said that it was a matter of concern that conversion of Hindus was taking place so fast. We must make Hindus realize the greatness of our Dharma. A VCD on HJS’ drive to prevent insult of the National Flag was shown on the occasion.
