Keep the philosophy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Veer Savarkar kindled in your heart ! – Mr. Durgesh Parulkar

Thane (Maharashtra): The efforts made by our great national heroes and the history of revolutionaries who sacrificed for this country to get freedom, have not been read by today’s rulers. The Government easily gives in to the pressure tactics exerted by other countries on us. Everyone should keep the philosophy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Veer Savarkar kindled in his heart. The above appeal was made by writer and orator Mr. Durgesh Parulkar in a pogram held at Thane.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Sreeram Sena, Hindu Mahasabha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had jointly organized a program at Lakshmi Keshav Hall to commemorate centenary year of the historical ‘leap’ of Veer Savarkar at Marseilles. The program started with lighting of lamp by Mr. Durgesh Parulkar and Mr. Anil More, the Chief PRO of VHP for Thane. The program was compeered by Mrs. Savita Lele and concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Mrs. Shalini Pai.

Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for Maharashtra and Gujarat States said on the occasion, “Those, who are systematically defaming and insulting Hindus, should remember that Hindus are the descendants of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Veer Savarkar. Our Government does not retaliate even when our national flag is denigrated by deliberately placing it in perverted manner. Everyone, who believes in secularism, should note that when the saffron colour is on top, other three colours remain in balance; but as the green colour comes on top, all colours lose their colour. Be ready to stop those who want to bring green colour on top.”
