Warkaris are making such demand, is a shame for the Govt. !

Shrikshetra Paithan (Dist. Sambhajinagar) : Pandharpur Devasthan managed by the State Government should be interrogated by investigating agencies for its scam was the unanimous demand made during convention of Warkaris held at Paithan, near Santashri Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Janmasansthan (Apegaon) Phada, near Shri Gadheshwar Mandir on 18th March. ‘Dharmasabha’ was also held on the occasion.

All places of pilgrimage should be made free of liquor and meat, not only at the time of religious festivals and ‘waari’ but there should be permanent ban on sale of these things. The law imposing ban on cow-slaughter should be implemented throughout the country; severe action should be taken against butchers and law banning cow-slaughter should be amended; all temple committees should be dissolved and management of all temples should be handed over to devotees. Paithan nagari has been sanctified due to the visit of Saint Eknath Maharaj. Warkaris and devout Hindus made a resolve at such place to become committed to the mission of protection of nation and Dharma. H.B.P. Bapu Maharaj Raokar, Konkan-Region President of ‘Rashtriya Warkari Sena’ did compeering of the program. The convention was ended with singing of ‘Pasaay-daan’.
