Rashtriya Hindu Andolan held at Sangli

If ban on carrying coconut to Siddhivinayak Mandir, Mumbai is not withdrawn, I will go and break a coconut on the next ‘Sankashti Chaturthi’ in this temple ! – ‘Pujya’ Madhavdas Maharaj

Sangli : It is very unfortunate that in a country where Hindus are in majority, they have to stage agitations for getting their problems solved. Prabhu Shriram was an ideal king, ideal husband and ideal in everything He did; therefore, nobody has the caliber to say anything about Him. Restriction has been imposed on breaking a coconut in Siddhivinayak Mandir in Mumbai which is most inappropriate decision. Hindus are deprived of benefits obtained by performing their rituals due to such restrictions. If the Government doesn’t withdraw this ban, I will go to this temple and break a coconut on the next ‘Sankashti Chaturthi’, warned ‘Pujya’ Madhavdas Maharaj while addressing demonstrators during ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ held at Maruti Chowk on 18th March in Sangli.

Let us hope that a Government with clear majority is in power; therefore, Hindus’ problems will be solved ! – Nitin Shinde

Shr. Nitin Shinde, former MLA and MNS leader said, “Today, there is a Government in power which has clear majority; therefore, let us hope that issues like construction of Shriram Mandir, cancellation of article 370 and Uniform Civil Code would be addressed. I extend full support to the agitation staged by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). How can a ‘Hindutvavadi’ Government take decision like banning coconut ? Today, ban is imposed on coconut; tomorrow, even flowers, garlands would be banned. It cannot be tolerated.”

There should be protection of law for those who want to adopt Hindu Dharma on their free will ! – Sou. Varsha Deshpande

Sou. Varsha Deshpande, a Savarkar-patron said, “Many non-Hindus are interested in adopting Hindu Dharma on realizing the importance of Hindu culture and Dharma. Those, who want to change their religion on their free will, should get protection and separate law should be passed for the purpose. There are 80% Hindus in this country; therefore, laws related to conversions need to be made more stringent.”
