Resolve to stage agitations against mismanagement by Mandir Samiti at Pandharpur

Decision taken in a meeting held by ‘Vitthal –Rukmini Mandir Sanrakshan Kruti Samiti’ 

Ill effects of ‘governmentalization’ of temples ! Why doesn’t the Government take action on its own against the mismanagement ? Temples should therefore, be under control of devotees to prevent such mismanagement ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat

Pandharpur (Dist. Solapur) : A meeting was held on 9th February by ‘Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir Sanrakshan Kruti Samiti (Action committee for protection of Vitthal-Rukmini Temple) [Action Committee]’ in which important decisions were taken such as staging agitations against the mismanagement of this temple by ‘Devasthan Samiti’ and preservation of sanctity of this temple. Few cows had died due to negligence and anarchy in Mandir Samiti’s working system. The Action Committee has, therefore, decided to stage agitations once the election code of conduct was lifted. Shri. Ganesh Lanke, a member of ‘Action Committee’, Shri. Manoj Khadye, District Coordinatior of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Western Maharashtra, advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar, national President of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishada (HVP), advocate Nilesh Sangolkar, advocate Sandip Apsingekar, H.B.P. Ramkrushna Veer Maharaj, spokesperson of ‘Warakari Paeek Sangh’, Shri. Pratap Salunkhe, Shri. Saurabh Thite and Shri. Vaibhav Badave etc were present on the occasion.
