Jalgaon (Maharashtra): ‘Ranaragini’, women’s wing promoted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) celebrated the martyr day of Rani Lakshmibai, the Queen of Jhansi on 18th June at Jalgaon with great fervor. The statue of Rani Lakshmibai in Jhansi ki Rani Chowk was garlanded by Mrs. Rekha Verma of BJP. Mrs. Shobhatai Chaudhary, the local chief of women’s wing of Shiv Sena besides Mrs. Mangala Bari, Mrs. Sangita Gawali, Mrs. Kalpana Kapadane and Miss Pratiksha Korgaonkar of ‘Ranaragini’ were present on the occasion.

Mrs. Shobhatai Chaudhary said, “All Hindu women should respect their great Hindu Dharma and follow the path prescribed in Dharma. Those women and young girls who feel awkward to follow ‘Dharmacharan’ should at least wear clothes as per Hindu culture; then only we can save ourselves.” Miss Pratiksha Borgaonkar appealed to Hindu women that they should get trained in self-defence so that they will be able to hold the hand raised against them.

Feedbacks

Mrs. Mangala Bari, Shiv Sena: We must forget our differences, posts, parties etc. and come together in such situation.
