Hindus have to submit representations for permission to visit their places of worship whereas the Government provides all kinds of facilities to non-Hindus with their asking for the same. Kolhapur : State Legislative Assmebly’s budgetary session will be started from 6th March. In this background, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has been submitting representations to Shiv Sena and BJP MLAs on various subjects. HJS volunteers and other ‘Hindutvavadis’ met and submitted representation to Shiv Sena MLA Shri. Rajesh Kshirsagar in this context, on 29th January at 1.30 p.m. They also had discussions with him on different topics. ‘Hindutvavadis’ submitted a representation to Shri. Kshirsagar demanding that an unauthorized toilet built over holy ‘Manikarnika Kunda’ without taking prior permission of Archaeology Department, should be demolished and the ‘kunda’ located in the premises of Shri Mahalakshmi Devasthan be re-opened for devotees for ‘darshan’. Shri. Kshirsagar promised to take up this issue in the forthcoming Assembly session. Shri. Madhukar Nazare, Shri. Kiran Duse, Shri. Shivanand Swami of HJS and Shiv Sena’s Shri. Kishore Gadage etc were present on the occasion.
