  • ‘Hindutvavadis’ and HJS volunteers submitting representations to police officers at various places

Pune : Plastic and paper national flags bought with lot of enthusiasm on national festivals are found strewn all over roads within short time after buying. The ‘sanskar’ of preserving honour of national flags has not been inculcated which leads to abuse of national flags. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has been undertaking drive for past several years for maintaining honour of national flags. As a part of this drive, HJS submitted representations to different police stations, schools and colleges etc Demand has been made through the representation that stringent action should be taken against the vendors selling plastic national flags since there is ban on sale of plastic and paper national flags.
