Oust Congress that put Savarkar behind bars even after independence – National ‘keertankar’ Yogesh Maharaj Salegaonkar

Akola (Maharashtra): Swatantryaveer Savarkar who sacrificed everything for freedom of ‘Bharatmata’, was sentenced to two life imprisonments by the British. After independence also, the Congress Government arrested him in connection with killing of Gandhi. It is the need of the hour that the Congress Government, which humiliated the great revolutionary, should be ousted. The above candid views were expressed by Mr. Yogesh Maharaj Salegaonkar, the national ‘keertankar’ from Selu (Dist. Parbhani). He was speaking in a program organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Veer Savarkar. The program was held at the hall of Gujarati Convent School. Mr. Shrikant Pisolkar first presented review of the objective and activities of HJS followed with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ by Master Shreyas Pisolkar studying in the ‘Vedapathshala’ run by Sanatan Sanstha at its Ramnathi Ashram.

In his guidance, Mr. Salegaonkar Maharaj said, “Kashmiri Pundits did not possess any kind of weapons, therefore, they had to leave behind their properties and wealth leading the life of refugees. Taking into consideration, their bad condition even today, Hindus should realize that it can spread to Hindus all over the country; therefore, Hindus must wake up and be alert. Do not elect even your own father if he is contesting election as a Congress candidate.” The program was concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’.
