Malshiras (Dist. Solapur) : Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had to fight with five Mughal invaders before declaring this land as ‘Hindavi Swarajya’. Later, due to sacrifices of many revolutionaries like Lokmanya Tilak, Swatantryaveer Savarkar, Chapekar brothers, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru etc India could get freedom from the British. Lessons on such brave revolutionaries are excluded from our history text books; but an exhibition of flex-boards was held at 30th December at Nimgaon Vidyamandir on life history of revolutionaries so that students would know about them and the bravery shown by them. Sou. Sunita Dixit spoke on the occasion. She gave information on the exhibition and created awareness towards prevention of celebrating New Year on the eve of 31st December. 600 students visited the exhibition. They noted down information given on flex boards about the revolutionaries. Teachers also liked the exhibition.
