‘Hindutvavadis’ stage demonstrations to oppose passing of anti-superstitions Act

Hubli (Karnataka) : On 23rd November, local ‘Hindutvavadis’ staged demonstrations at the famous Rayanna Chowk to oppose passing of anti-superstitions Act. Shri. Dayanand Rao, a devout Hindu said on the occasion that Congress was set up only to destroy Hindu culture. Hindu culture would be eradicated if ban was not imposed on such Act. Sou. Vidula Haldipur of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti accused the State Government of adopting anti-Hindu policies. Shri. Ganesh Kadam, President of Shriram Sena for Hubli, Shri. Mohan Guruswami (Ayyappa Vrunda) also joined the demonstrations; besides several devout Hindus.

Demands made during demonstrations

1. Investigations into murders of ‘Hindutvavadi’ leaders in Southern States should be conducted by Central Bureau of Investigations.

2. Ban should be imposed on ‘Islamic Research Foundation’ and ‘Peace International School’ set up by Islamic cleric Dr. Zakir Husain.
