Nargund (Karnataka): Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha was held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Nargund in Shri Basaveshwara Hall. The sabha was attended by more than 375 devout Hindus.

The sabha was inaugurated by blowing the conch shell followed by the lighting of an oil lamp by the dignitaries. Then Master SwayamPrakash Bankapur recited the Veda mantras. At this time the honorable guest who addressed and guided the devout Hindus were Shree Abinava Siddalinga Shivacharya Swamiji, Miss Sphoorti Benakanawari of Ranaragini, Mrs. Vidula Haldipur of Dharma Shakti Sena. At this time Mrs. Shivaleela briefed about the objectives of Sanatan Prabhat’s mission. She was also felicitated at this time as a representative of Sanatan Prabhat.

While talking about the current state of women Miss Spoorthi Benakanawari appealed to awaken the strength and develop fighter spirit like Jhansi Rani Laxmi Bai and Kittur Rani Chennamma. She further added, “Hindu women have forgotten their identity while following western culture. They have also lost the values of Hindu Dharma and even do not cover our body entirely which is against Hindu Dharma.”

Mrs Vidula Haldipur stressed on the need of the self defense training in the present times to protect ourselves and nation. She added that Dharmashakti Sena is providing the Self defense training to everybody.

Abhinav Siddalinga Shivacharya Swamiji also spoke about the current situations of Nation and Dharma. He said, “Our country is blind folded towards Dharma. And here everyone just speaks but when time comes when we have to contribute and act nobody comes forward. Everyone should start acting and make any officer listen to our voice for Nation and Dharma. If we forget our duties towards Dharma then it is utter waste to take birth in great Hindu Religion.”

The sabha was concluded with Vande Mataram sung by Mrs. Vidula Haldipur of Dharma Shakti Sena
