For the safety of the Nation, will the Rulers try to learn from the life-history of Chhatrapati Shivaraya? – Prof. Rajendra Thakur

Gadhinglaj (Dist. Kolhapur, Maharashtra): Today, in Maharashtra, there is a prohibition imposed by the Rulers to display pictures of Shivaji Maharaj and to talk about his bravery. There were 23% Hindus at the time of partition of this country; but now only 1 % Hindus are remaining. Will the Government show courage to give the reasons for the same? Pro-Hindu organizations must forget about their differences and come together for the welfare of Hindus. In the Maharashtra of Swatantryaveer Savarkar and in the land of valiant Prataprao Gujar, we will not give up the mission of creating awarenes among the people towards their Dharma. Will the Government, that feels that it would create law and order problem if we speak, try to learn from the life history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj?, asked Prof. Rajendra Thakur from Uttur (Taluka Ajra) very boldly. In a Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), he addressed the audience along with Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat, Mr. Vinay Panwalkar of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ and Mrs. Rupa Mahadik of ‘Ranaragini’. The ‘Sabha’ began with lighting of lamp by Prof. Thakur and was attended by about 2800 devout Hindus.

Mar Jawan (Die soldier), Mar Kisan (Die farmer)’ is the policy of today’s politicians – Mr. Ramesh Shinde

Mr. Ramesh Shinde of HJS said, “The policy of today’s rulers is ‘Mar Jawan (Die soldier), Mar Kisan (die farmer)’. The terrorists use modern weapons these days that can fire 110 bullets per second whereas the police use weapons thatw ere used in the Second World War and lose life. The rulers, who are fit to jump in a gutter, make mockery of Savarkar jumping in the sea at Marsellis. Today, cows are also not safe due to the ‘govenmentalization’ of temples. There is no other solution to all these problems but Hindu unity.”
“There are at least 5000 organisations in the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Western Maharashtra. Even if at least 10 workers from each organization come together and agitate against the history text book devised by NCERT which has insulted Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by devoting only 6 lines to his life history, HJS will make even the Maharashtra Government to withdraw the text book that insults Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as it held agitations and forced the Goa Government to include a 5 pages lesson on Chhatrapati.”

Highlights

1. The police served a notice to the speakers before start of the 'Sabha’ that they should not create law and order situation by making such statements in their speeches.
2. Police recorded the whole ‘Sabha’ (Had the police kept such vigil on the traitors, rather than the nationalists who sacrificed everything for Nation and Dharma, at least the terrorists activities would have reduced in this country !  – Editor SP)
3. The temperature of the place was 40-42 degress selsius for the last 15 days but on the day of the sabha, it was cloudy and HJS workers could do all ‘sevas’
4. A follow up meeting will be held on Saturday for Hindus who are interested in taking part in HJS activities, at 4.00 p.m. for women and at 7.00 p.m. for men in Sree Mahadev Temple.
