Adhik Vaishakh Krushna Trutiya, Kaliyug Varsha 5112

Kopargaon (Maharashtra): Today, children are taught wrong history, therefore, they have no respect towards Indian culture. The educational institutions in the country should have such curriculum that would inculcate good culture in children. The above views were expressed by ‘Mathadhipati Mahant’ Shri. Ramgiriji Maharaj from Sarala Island. He addressed the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). Mrs. Manasi Shrishrimal of ‘Ranaragini’, Mr. Prasad Wadake of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ and Mr. Sunil Ghanavat of HJS also addressed the ‘sabha’ that was attended by about 2000 devout Hindus.

Mahant Sree Ramgiri Maharaj said in his guidance, “The Supreme Court has no objection to extra-marital relationship. If one accepts such relationships what would be the difference between a human being and an animal; therefore, I condemn the judge who has given such opinion.

Hindus must develop respect towards their Dharma! – Shri. Sunil Ghanavat

The lack of respect among Hindus towards their Dharma resulted in attacks on them by followers of other religions. Hindus must develop respect towards Dharma to change such situation. Abu Azmi is talking about closing down the Schools where ‘Vande Mataram’ is sung; but before he tries to do such thing, the awakened Hindus would hold his hands and close down his mouth.”

Youth must have right ideal – Mr. Prasad Vadake

Today’s youth must keep ideals like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj, Swatantryaveer Savarkar before them. Only devout Hindus are expected to follow the law. The same law is overlooked when Mohammad Afzal is to be executed. It is a tragedy that despite being attacked through different medium, Hindus are not getting united. It is necessary for Hindus to unite.

Women should shake off mental weakness ! – Mrs. Manasi Shrishrimal

Women are holding important posts in various fields in this country but still there is increase in the incidents of their repression. Presently, there is a danger of ‘love jihad’ looming over them; therefore, they should shake off their mental weakness. If women follow ‘Dharmacharan’ and inculcate moral values among people at home, it will create a cultured generation and Dharma and Nation will become more capable.

The ‘sabha’ began with recitation of ‘veda-matras’. Shri. Dhananjay Kalunge of HJS did introduction whereas compeering and thanks giving was done by Advocate Charudatta Joshi. The ‘Sabha’ was concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Miss Vrushali Kshatriya and Miss Amruta Kshatriya.

The other dignitaries attending the ‘Sabha’ were H. B. P. Anarthe Maharaj, H. B. P. Ukirde Maharaj, H. B. P. Shivaji Thackare, Shri. Anand Shinde, founder-President of Veer Savarkar multi-purpose seva –kendra, Mayor Mrs. Ujjwala Jadhav, Mr. Vijay Vahadane, President of ‘Vande Mataram’ organization, Mr. Deepak Singare, the district-coordinator of Nagar for Bajarang Dal, Mr. Suresh Chavare, the President of Sree Dakshinabhimukhi Hanuman Temple (Santosh Vyayamshala), Dr. Hemant Rathi, the President of Indian Medical Association etc.

‘Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS)’ is decaying the society, Shri. Mahant Ramgiri Maharaj strongly attacked ANS. The superstitions have to be eradicated but not at the cost of attacking Dharma, he said. The power of Dharma should have control over rulers for preserving the culture; now, however, there is interference of government in ‘Dharmasatta’. This has resulted in ‘governmentalisation’ of temples and the condition of temples is bad, said Sree Ramgiri Maharaj.
