Govt. positive over issue of Pandharpur to be made free of liquor and meat : Chandrakant Patil

Decision will be taken after talking to the CM !

Pandharpur : The Government is positive towards the issue of banning sale of liquor and meat at all pilgrimage places. A decision in this regard will be taken after talking to the State Chief Minister (CM), said Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil who was in Pandharpur in connection with Kartiki Ekadashi ‘Mahapuja’ of Shri Vitthal. He gave the above information during a press conference held at residence of BJP leader Bagal and was asked a question on the subject by representative of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’. (Devotees expect the Government to take action on their wish at the earliest and to preserve the sanctity of pilgrimage places. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

While replying to another question, Shri. Chandrakant Patil said, “Stringent action will be taken against those found guilty in investigations being conducted by CID into scam of Pashchim Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti.”
