Ban on Sanatan Sanstha will be akin to ban on Hindu Dharma! – Mr. Pramod Mutalik

Gadag (Karnataka): It is despicable on the part of the Goa Government to try to impose ban on Sanatan. Ban on Sanatan Sanstha will be akin to ban on Hindu Dharma. Sriram Sene strongly protests against Goa Government and is warning the Government that such ban should not be imposed. Even then if ban is imposed on a spiritual organisation like Sanatan Sanstha, the Congress Government will have to face severe opposition. This stern warning was given by Mr. Pramod Mutalik.

‘Hindu-Dharma Suraksha Samiti (HSS) had organized a rally to protest against the probable ban on pro-Hindu organizations and defamation of Hindu Saints. Mr. Mutalik was speaking on the occasion. Mr. Manjunath Veerlingayyanmath of HSS, Mr. Shridhar Kulkarni of VHP and Mr. Mohan Gowda of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti also addressed the rally.

The rally started at 11.00 a.m. from Tangakut Chowk by performing ‘puja’ of the ‘Dhvaj’.  Mr. Vishwanath Bhat, a devout Hindu performed the ‘puja’ during which seekers from Kashi Sankrut Peeth, who were present there, recited ‘Veda-mantras’. Pamphlets on proposed ban on pro-Hindu organizations and Sanatan Sanstha were distributed.

Mr. Pramod Mutalik further said, “Sriram Sene supports the agitation staged by HSS. A ‘chapter’ case has been filed against H. H. Dr. Athavale who is like a sage. He has not come out of His room during the past 2-1/2 years. He has taught people to chant, has been imparting ‘Dharmashikashan’ to the society and such sage has been accused of disturbing the peace. The Government has been insulting Hindu Saints time and again.”

Mr. Shridhar Kulkarni said, “Sanatan Sanstha has been imparting the knowledge of ‘Dharma’ and educating the society. Presently, denigration of dharma is very much prevalent. The contribution of Sanatan Sanstha in preventing such harm is sizeable. Ban on Sanatan Sanstha is an attack on Hindus and we strongly condemn such ban.”

The Govt. should publish misdeeds of followers of other religions – Mr. Mohan Gowda

The police have been conducting inquiries of members of Sanatan involved in ‘Dharmakarya’. The police have been shamefully implicating the members in false cases. If media and the police are courageous, they should go to mosques and churches, record sexual misdeeds of Mullahs and missionaries and publish them for all people to know.

Mr. Manjunath Veerlingayyanmath of HSS and other devout Hindus submitted a memorandum to the Tehsildar against the probable ban who assured to forward the same to the Chief Minister.
