Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) have received several complaints from devout Hindus regarding upcoming auction sale of M.F. Hussain’s controversial and denigrating paintings in Saffron Art Gallery of Dehali.
Upon reviewing the complaints, the HJS team immediately appealed to Saffron Art Gallery’s management team requesting them not to conduct auction of the paintings of M.F. Husain in New Delhi on September 9, 2016.
HJS explained the gravity of the situation and how M.F. Husain has hurt the Religious and National sentiments of crores of Hindus because of his blasphemous painting of Hindu deities and naked Bharat Mata. In addition, HJS also specified that there are numerous complaints lodged against M.F. Hussain for creating disharmony between different religious groups, selling obscene material and disturbing National integrity. HJS also requested Saffron Art Gallery to show respect and courtesy to the sentiments of Hindu community and cancel the upcoming auction show.
The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) team has not received any response from Saffron Art Gallery’s management team. Consequently, HJS now requests all readers to appeal against this dreadful denigration peacefully and lawfully by either writing an email or calling the numbers below requesting to remove M.F. Hussain’s paintings from upcoming auction.
