: We must read our holy scriptures to know about our Dharma and bring into the open the heterodox propaganda being circulated by anti-Hindus. One must not leave one’s culture come what may. This is ‘Dharma-shikshan’. If we blindly follow western culture, we will get afflicted by serious ailments. Hindus must become defenders of Dharma.

The above guidance was given by H. B. P. Arjun Maharaj Surve in his address during Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha. The ‘Sabha’ was organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in the hall of Saint Rocks School and was attended by about 525 devout Hindus. Mrs. Janhavi Bhadirke of ‘Ranaragini’, Mr. Satish Kocharekar of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ and Mr. Satish Sonar of HJS addressed the ‘Sabha’.
The ‘Sabha’ began with the lighting of the lamp by H. B. P. Arjun Maharaj Surve and the recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’. Mr. Prathamesh Kudav, a representative of Sanatan Sanstha was felicitated on the occasion. Mr. Sadanand Panchal of HJS took a review of the HJS activities. An appeal was made to keep away from the celebration of ‘Valentine’s Day’. H. B. P. Arun Maharaj Kadam also attended the ‘Sabha’ with many warakaris.
