OLA’s blog removes Ganesh’s picture used for ad, but not apologised to Hindus yet

After protest by Hindus from various platforms, OLA cabs has removed Ganesh’s picture (given below for reference) from its blog. But still OLA has not apologised Hindus for its mistake. Let’s pay gratitude at the holy feet of Shri Ganesh for this success, but let us not stop here until OLA apologise to Hindus for its mistake and assure that they would not trivialise Hindu deities for marketing purpose. Until our demands are met, Hindus must continue their protest in lawful manner.

Following are the details of the issue

Readers may please note that the picture has not been published to hurt religious sentiments of Hindus but published for them to know about denigration !

Ola is India’s most popular mobile app for transportation, integrates city transportation for customers and driver partners onto a mobile technology platform.

OLA, in one of the post named ‘This Ganesh Chaturthi, get a Silver Ganesha Idol at your doorstep !’ on their blog (https://blog.olacabs.com/), has shown Shri Ganesha sitting on the roof of the Cab depicting the arrival of Shri Ganesha at home in OLA Cab on the ocassion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Shri Ganesha is a highly revered Deity in Hinduism, and Hindus worship Him with immense faith. Depiction of Him in such a manner has offended the religious sentiments of Hindus.

To market Cab business OLA has humanized Hindu Deities.

Devout Hindus demand apology from OLA Cabs for denigrating Shri Ganesh.
