On learning about this matter, Shri. Shivaji Vatkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti contacted Shri. Hushe and explained to him about baking of a cake in shape of flag and cutting it was an insult of national flag. He also told Shri. Hushe that complaints were received by HJS, in this connection. Hushe told Shri. Vatkar that there was no ‘Ashok-Chakra’ on the cake and legal advice was also taken in the matter. HJS activists gave reference of news published in ‘Lokmat’ and requested Hushe to confirm that the cake wouldn’t be a replica of national flag.
