HJS Drive to maintain honour of national flags continues in Maharashtra

Karad : Representations were submitted to acting Tehsildar Meenal Bhamare, Karad taluka Gramin police, Karad city police, ‘Gat-vikas’ officers and Chief Officer with an appeal to prevent abuse of national flags. An appeal is also made to show the special VCD prepared by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on prevention of abuse of national flags at theatres and through cable channels. Activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Shiv Sena’s Shri. Somnath Vedpathak, Shri. Anil Kadane, Shri. Chintamani Parakhe; ‘Hindu Ekata’s Shri. Suhas Babar, BJP’s Shri. Ganesh Kapase and Karad’s ‘Gourakshak’ Chief Shri. Gorakh Shinde were present on the occasion. Similar representation was submitted to Police Inspector Yashawant Shirke at Vaduj.

Thane : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti submitted representation to the Principals of various schools in Thane, Dombivali and Ambernath, for imposition of ban on use of national flags to prevent their abuse. Charubama School, Kid -land High School, Pragati College, Tilak School, Jondhale School etc. are some of them.

Sou. Khule, the Principal of Jondhale School from Dombivali (W) said that HJS drive undertaken in connection with national flags was very good and two years back, when HJS had brought up this issue, the students had collected national flags thrown on roads.

Highlight : Shri. Prakash Zarkar, a reader of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ from Dombivali (W) went with other activists for submitting representation; although he was not keeping well.
