‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ held successfully at Irinjalakuda, Kerala

Irinjalakuda: Recently ’Hindu Dharmajagruti sabha’ was held at Unnayi Warrier hall of Irinjalakuda from Kerala. Many devout Hindus attended this ‘Sabha’ and resolved to contribute in the mission of protecting Dharma and Preventing attacks on Dharma in whichever way they can. The exhibition displayed at the venue comprised of the posters depicting the science behind many facets of Hindu Dharma rituals. Many attendees were benefited by this exhibition.

On this occasion the dignitaries present on the dais were Mr. Pratheesh Vishwanath, coordinator of Hindu Helpline, Miss Praneeta Sukhtankar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Miss Aditi Sukhtankar of Ranaragini.

The ‘Sabha’ was inaugurated by lighting an oil lamp by the dignitaries, which then was followed by the recitations of vedic hymns.

“Love Jihad is a very serious issue for Hinduism!” – Mr. Pratheesh Vishwanath

While addressing the devout Hindus at this time Mr. Pratheesh Vishwanath said, “Love Jihad has become a very serious issue. It has started with an aim of destroying Hinduism. Muslim boys trap the Hindu girls into their ‘Love trap’ and convert them to Islam. Then they are sold in Arab countries and put under the influence of drugs. Now a days they have started different way, Love Jihadis are awarded with 100 Rs per photograph of Hindu girl pictured by them. These photos are further morphed and uploaded on intranet.”

“Only spiritual practice can give us the courage to fight against adharma (anti-religion activities)! “ – Miss Praneeta Sukhtankar

On this occasion while talking about the current state of Nation and Dharma Miss Praneeta Sukhtankar said, “Now our country Bharat (India) is being attacked from all the sides. Various issues such as Terrorism, Infiltration of Bangladeshis and trouble of Naxalites are on the uproar. The situation of Hindu Dharma is also no different. Dharma is also plagued with issues of blind imitation of western culture, denigration of the Deities and Conversion etc. Thus it is duty of each and every Hindu to Protect Nation and Dharma. Only Spiritual Practice can give us the courage to fight adharma.”

“Dharmacharan (Righteous conduct) can impart the spiritual and mental strength to face the atrocities to women!” – Miss Aditi Sukhtankar

While discussing the current situation of women Miss Aditi Suktankar stated, “Today, women have progressed in all the fields such as education, career etc .but still they are facing the increased atrocities such as Love Jihad, rape cases etc. Only Dharmacharan can impart the mental and spiritual strength to fight against such atrocities. The great Hindu Dharma explains the science behind each and every action and stresses the importance of practicing the Dharmacharan (Righteous Conduct). By practicing Dharmacharan one also attains God’s grace. Thus, time has come when we should get rid of the western culture and follow Rani Laxmibai of Jansi and Jijabai as our Icons. Hence, Ranragini, A women wing of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is working on creating awareness about Dharmacharan amongst women.”

Highlights

1. Many devout Hindus from the town helped in campaigning for the ‘sabha’
2. An elderly person commented that He should learn Dharma in order to answer the questions in better manner. As he was speechless when he was questioned by his son about the need of lighting a ghee lamp when there is a electric lamp at home.
3. After the conclusion of the ‘sabha’ 2 lectures and 2 children’s workshops have been arranged in the town.
