HJS drive for prevention of abuse of national flags in UP and Haryana

Agra administration imposes ban on sale of plastic national flags ! 

Agra : A drive has been undertaken by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) between 1st and 15th August for prevention of abuse of national flags. It is receiving positive response from police, local administrations, newspapers and patriotic citizens. The District Collector’s office in Agra issued an order prohibiting sale of plastic / paper national flags.

1. A representation was submitted to additional Magistrate Yogendrakumar for imposing ban on sale of plastic/ paper national flags.

2. HJS activists Monica Singh and Shri. Thakur Singh gave lecture on maintaining honour of national flags, at Saraswati Shishu Mandir’s 625 students and 60 students of a private coaching class.

3.The drive was undertaken at Paliwal Park. HJS activists told about the drive to a social organization named ‘India Rising’ and ‘River Connect’, creating awareness among them.

Representation submitted by HJS and Vedic Upasana Peetha at Ghaziabad (UP) 

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) : Representation was submitted to the District Collector by HJS and Vedic Upasana Peetha for maintaining honour of national flags which was, in his absence, accepted by his assistant officer. He promised to take necessary action. Shri. Arvind Gupta, Kum. Kiran Mahato of HJS; Shri. Devendra Verma and Shri. Prabhakar Dwivedi of Vedic Upasana Peetha were present on the occasion. 

Lecture held in school on ‘honour national flags’ at Faridabad (Haryana) 

Faridabad (Haryana) : In Neha Public School in SGM Nagar, a lecture was conducted by HJS for maintaining honour of national flags. More than 40 students attended the program. Importance of national flags, why should it be honored etc. was explained to students; advising them not to use plastic/ paper national flags. Similar representations have been given by HJS in 6 schools for maintaining honour of national flags.
