Attacking Hindu Organisations Mamata opted for Dalit-Muslim Politics for designing a Political Jihad against Central Govt
Kolkata : Severely attacking Hindu Organisations, Trinamool Congress [TMC] chairperson and the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee spoke against “saffron polarisation” in the country and the States using the “politics of cow.” She has appealed to stop such politics. Without naming any political party the Chief Minister has said that she will “not tolerate” any politics of polarisation in the State through “cow surveys” by certain political parties.
“I heard that few people, on behalf of a political party or its sister organisation is reaching out to the people. They are asking about the number of cows in each household. What right do they have to ask this question ?,” the Chief Minister asked. Ms. Banerjee was addressing a massive rally in central Kolkata to mark the 24th Martyr’s Day on Thursday. On this day in 1993 many 13 Youth Congress workers were killed in police firing and 200 others were injured including Mamata Banerjee. Then Mamata was the State President of Youth Congress. Afterwards, Mamata established Trinamool Congress on 1 January 1998.
“Some people have forgotten that people have the right to chose. [However] if I consume goats then there is no problem, but if the other person consumes cow, it is [a problem]…I wear a sari and it is not a problem, but some one may chose to wear salwar-kameez and then it turns out to be a problem. We [Bengalis] may wear dhoti, but someone may prefer a lungi – what is the issue here…[and] who are you to decide ? A few people would decide what to wear and what not to eat…how is it possible,” asked Ms. Banerjee, further adding that she would “not tolerate” any politics of polarisation in the State.
In her speech Mamata Banerjee attacked [Hindu] Jagaran Manch and Goraksha Dal for their growing activism in Bengal.
Kabir Suman, a converted Muslim [erstwhile Suman Chattopadhyay] and a noted musician of Bengal shared again the dias of TMC to spread a message of Dalit-Muslim politics in Bengal. Once a Loksabha MP from Jadavpur in TMC ticket rejoined in TMC team (sometime ago he left the party) in Islamic attire and praised Mamata banerjee as a champion of Muslim and Dalit development in the state. Playing the caste card Suman said, “The English knowing people of Kolkata hurles abusive language to Mamata each and every day as Mamata is giving the facilities to the Muslims and Dalits instead of the ever facilitated Chatterjee-Banerjee-Mukherjee-Dasgupta-Sengupta etc.” Going to a hype Suman held, “After 300 years there will be temple of Mamata and she will be worshiped by public”.
“Dalits are targeted in Gujarat. We are condemning these incidents. And I would like to make it clear that if some one would like to conduct this [cow] survey – tries to set fire – be rest assured we would not tolerate that. We would fight such [intentions] politically. We will not let you set houses on fire,” Mamata Banerjee said.
Raising the issue of attacks on Dalits at Una in Gujarat, Ms. Banerjee also called for putting an end to the cow politics in the country.
“There have been atrocities against Dalits. I have read in the newspaper that some do business of cow leather for long. Those who are cobblers also use cow leather. These are age-old practices. But these people were tied up and assaulted,” she said.
Interestingly, only a couple of weeks back, Mamata Banerjee said that she would not tolerate cow smuggling in Bengal. Cow smuggling to Bangladesh is also an informal business between West Bengal and bordering districts of Bangladesh, which provides livelihood to many thousands of living on both sides of the border. However, in the Assembly Ms Banerjee said that her government would “act strongly” on three issues, after Ramzan. “The three issues are: cow smuggling, opium trade and gold smuggling,” she said earlier.
But, under some pressure from the jihadi community perhaps, Mamata Banerjee is now trying to ease the illegal cow slaughter on Bakri Eid in WB to appease the Muslim vote bank politics in the state.
On Thursday WB CM Mamata Banerjee also raised her concerns about saffron polarization in different spheres including education and attacked Central Govt and Election Commission for various reasons.
While she attacked Central Govt for ‘hatching conspiracy against state govt’, Mamata blamed Election commission for their “Kargil like attack on the voters of Bengal’ at the time of last assembly election.
While contacting the Hindu Jagran Manch (HJM), WB unit and the Goraksha Mission, WB unit, both of the organisations told HENB that they had never conducted such cow survey house to house. ‘Mamata Banerjee told a great lie to make a panic for the Muslim public as they would stick to TMC’, a HJM leader told HENB.
“We know that Sarvodya Vicahr Parishad and Pinjrapole Society sometimes help some students researching on Indian progeny cows. Indian progeny cows are being vulnerable and shrinking in numbers. Sometimes some experts hold survey for production of medicines made from cow-dung and urine. But, these are all academic and research work. How Mamata Banerjee is finding any communal matters in it ?”. an astonished Goraksha activist said.
Actually, mamata Banerjee does not know the provisions of Art. No. 48 of the Indian Constitution where it is clearly said, “Organisation of agriculture and animal husbandry The State shall endeavour to organise agriculture and animal husbandry on modern and scientific lines and shall, in particular, take steps for preserving and improving the breeds, and prohibiting the slaughter, of cows and calves and other milch and draught cattle”.
Then, anyone goes door to door to protect cows, he or she is right enough and is working a great thing upholding the Constitution of India. And Mamata and her TMC party both are working against constitution by their effort to ease the illegal slaughter of cow progeny unfortunately.
Mamata raised her voice against any restriction on food habits. She categorically mention the consumption of beef, goat meat and chicken, but tactfully avoided the consumption of pork as that may hurt Muslim sentiments. Not even she said anything about the recent ban on dog meat in Nagaland !
Actually, Mamata Banerjee always try to hurt Hindu sentiments so that more anti-Hindus think her a great secular. So, she never dare to mention ‘Beef’ to the Hindus, but never mention ‘pork’ among the Muslim audience. This is the actual communal face Mamata Banerjee under her tricky politics.
Mamata Banerjee threatened the Hindu activists in West Bengal from the dias of 21st July at Dharmatala. But, she kept her mum on the communal riots in Canning, Deganga, Usthi, Samudragarh, Kaliachak, Chopra. Islampur and the Jihadi blast in Khagragarh. Double standard Mamata Banerjee always ignored the Jihadi upsurge in Bengal.
In all such places Hindu SC, ST, OBC and Dalit category people were attacked by the jihadi goons time and again. Incidentally, these jihadi goons are always protected by TMC. But, Mamata Banerjee is vocal about dalit attack in Gujarat!
Actually, Mamata Banerjee is spoiling the situation of West Bengal through a probable Jihadi upheaval in West Bengal at the cost of Hindu disintegration. Opting caste politics or politics of Religion is dangerous enough. Mamata opted for Dalit-Muslim Politics for designing a Political Jihad against Central Govt.
Attacking Hindu Organisations will not give any dividend anyway to Mamata nor her TMC party, rather all her development works may see a tragic end of Jihadi devastation all on a sudden.
Referring to Bangladesh Terror attacks, she said her support to BD Govt as a neighbour; but she had expressed no concern about the recent Hindu killings and Islamic repression on the minority people there.
From the 21st July Rally at Dharmatala, Mamata extended her full support to the illegal cow killers and beef eaters by threatening the cow savers likely engaged themselves in the work of prevention of animal cruelty. This is a gross violation of minimum humanitarian approach to the animals in critical vulnerability.
Mamata must be refrained from her suicidal motive to attack and demoralize Hindus unreasonably only to please and glorify the jihadis.
