Take stringent action against the guilty ! – HJS

Matter of a suspect named Lucas Carvalho putting rosary on the idol of the Deity at Shri Siddheshwar Devasthan, Uge, Sange is quite serious. Police should find out the mastermind behind this incident. Many incidents of theft in temples and damaging of idols have taken place earlier in Sange taluka and all over the State and everyone knows that the State Government and police have totally failed to nab the culprits. It is necessary for police to find whether there is any link between the cases of theft; damaging of idols which had occurred in the past and the present incident of putting rosary on Deity’s idol. The incident at Shri Siddheshwar Mandir is an example of how minority population oppresses majority Hindus and the Government should not overlook the same keeping an eye on their votes, is the demand made by Dr. Manoj Solanki, the State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Goa through a press release.
