Hubballi : ‘Ranaragini’ Division observes Rajmata Jijabai death anniversary day

Hubballi : On 29th June at Vijaynagar Junior College and on 30th June at Shri Vishweshwar Nagar Mahila Mandal, Ranaragini Division of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held programs to commemorate death anniversary of Rajmata Jijabai. Both the programs were started by garlanding the picture-frame of Rajmata Jijabai.

Kum. Sphoorti Benkanwari of Ranaragini Division addressed both the programs and explained about valiant women warriors from Indian history who sacrificed everything for protection of nation and Dharma. She said, “Mata Jijabai was the inspiration behind Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for saving Hindus from attacks of fanatic Muslim invaders. He awakened fearlessness, devoutness and patriotism in him.”

The organization of such programs can be considered as successful only if we try to inculcate qualities of such ideal women from our history like Rajmata Jijabai, Rani Lakshmibai, Rani Chennamma, Belwadi Mallamma etc.
