Rashtriya Hindu Andolan held at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi

‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ for making recitation of ‘Om’ compulsory on 21st June ‘Yoga Day’ and to stop ‘Islamization’ of Kashmir and to demand action against police and the then rulers for torturing Sadhvi Pragya Singh for 8 years in jail !

New Delhi : Pro-Hindu organizations staged demonstrations under auspices of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ on 12th June at Jantar Mantar, Delhi for various demands such as chanting of ‘Om’ should be made compulsory on 21st June, ‘Yoga Day’; ‘Islamization’ of Kashmir should be stopped etc. It was also demanded that police and the then rulers implicating and oppressing Sadhvi Pragya Singh for 8 years in jail should be punished. ‘Vedic Upasana Peetha’, ‘Akhand Bharat Morcha’, ‘Bharat Raksha Manch’, ‘Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti’, Hindu Defence League, Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) participated in the demonstrations.

In the advertisement of ‘Kashmir Fort Festival’ in Jammu-Kashmir, historical name of ‘Hari Parbat’ has been changed to ‘Koh-e-Maran’; Anantnag’s name has been changed to Islamabad, Shankaracharya Hill has been referred to as ‘Takhta-e-Suleiman’ etc. which is an attempt for ‘Islamization’ of Kashmir and it should be stopped was another demand made during RHA. Advocate Dnyanprakash of ‘Bharat Raksha Manch’ and Shri. Suresh Munjal, Delhi Coordinator of HJS expressed their views on the occasion.
