Rally of Savarkar-patrons held with enthusiasm by Hindu Mahasabha

Satara : On the occasion of 133rd birth anniversary of Swatantryaveer Savarkar, Hindu Mahasabha held a rally of Savarkar-patrons at the hall of ‘Jyeshtha Nagarik Sangh’ in Chhatrapati Pratapsingh Udyan. 

Advocate Govind Gandhi, Vice President of Hindu Mahasabha, Maharashtra Region, its District President- Shri. Datta Sanas, its executive member Shri Umesh Gandhi, Shri. Mangesh Nikam of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Sou. Madhuri Dixit of Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Girish Bakshi, senior academic of Savarakar’s literature, senior writer Shri. Jagannath Shinde etc. were present; besides several Savarkar-patrons and local eminent personalities.  

The program was started with dignitaries garlanding photo-frame of Swa. Savarkar; followed with lighting of lamp with ‘Kayapanji’. Shri. Girish Bakshi and Shri. Jagannath Shinde, senior academic of Savarlar-literature and senior writer respectively addressed the audience. Shri. Madhukar Balaji Pisal from Gove-Deeghar in Vai taluka was felicitated on the occasion and conferred with ‘Sahakar-Ratna’ award; Shri. Rajendrakumar Shingate from Natepute, Solapur District was conferred ‘Kala-Ratna’ award. Sou. Madhuri Dixit of Sanatan Sanstha was also felicitated on the occasion who expressed gratitude and passed on the whole credit to Sanstha’s Founder and Paratpar Guru Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale.

Shri. Mangesh Nikam from HJS, who is fully dedicated to activities related to protection of nation like Swa. Savarkar, was felicitated on the occasion by dignitaries. He expressed his views; narrating few memories of his detention in prison, interlacing them with Savarkar’s memories about his imprisonment.
